The BST580D was designed as a comprehensive battery tester and OBD scanner,
especially for DIY users and the service staff of small service workshops.
It supports battery testing (including battery testing, start system testing and
Charging system test) and OBD diagnostics (including reading/clearing DTCs and
(Read data stream). With built-in help menus and code definitions, diagnosing and repairing the dreaded Check Engine light is now easier than ever!
The BST-580D battery tester uses the world's most advanced conductivity testing technology to easily, quickly, and accurately measure the actual cold cranking capability of a vehicle battery, the battery's overall health, and common faults in the vehicle's starting and charging system. This effectively assists maintenance personnel in quickly and accurately locating the problem, thus enabling rapid vehicle repairs.
